Become a Member
Membership of Randwick Archery Club entitles our members to use the range 24/7. As a member, you may use club equipment when the containers are open, and may attend any club competitions or tournaments (entry fees may apply). Members are permitted to shoot without supervision so we have to be sure that prospective members are able to conduct themselves safely.
If you:
are a complete beginner:
You will need to complete an Archery Beginners course. Please read about our Beginners Courses here and subscribe to our mailing list to be notified about upcoming courses.
If you:
- have previously completed a Beginners Course with us
- are a former member wishing to rejoin, or
- are an existing member wishing to renew your membership:
You can register and renew your membership through the Member's Hub. You'll need to provide your updated details, select your membership type, and your membership will be approved by our committee.
- If you:
- have completed a beginners course elsewhere
- have been a member of another archery club, or
- have been shooting for several years:
You will need to complete a range assessment with one of our coaches. A range assessment is not onerous or difficult - you'll spend about an hour with one of our coaches so that they can check your understanding of range safety, and use of archery equipment. Please email details of your experience (and bows) to our coaches who can arrange to assess your shooting.
Subscriptions
Membership subscription to Randwick Archery Club is for one year, and includes affiliation to the Wellington Archery Association and Archery NZ.

Following the successful completion of your Beginners Course or Range Assessment, you will be emailed a link to a membership form through our Member's Hub. You can register your membership and complete your registration online, following approval from the committee.
When completing the membership form, you will be able to provide your payment details and pay for your membership online. Your card will not be charged until your membership is approved. Once payment is made your membership will be active and can begin using the range and equipment.
